Product description for teachers and tutors

Closely matched to the National Curriculum, the Schofield & Sims Revision Guides help children to revise what they have learnt at school, in preparation for the end of key stage tests. Clearly presented examples and colourful illustrations help bring revision to life, while targeted practice questions highlight any gaps in understanding.

The Key Stage 2 Maths Revision Guide covers the statutory requirements for Key Stage 2 maths, including: number, fractions, decimals and percentages, ratio and proportion, calculation, problem solving, algebra, measurement, geometry and statistics. The accessible format and index enable children either to work through the topics in order, or to focus on a particular subject area.

This 96-page book includes:

  • helpful Tips for tests and advice on how to revise effectively
  • Remember boxes to summarise key information
  • regular Test yourself questions and answers to check recall of information
  • a Glossary to encourage the correct spelling and use of subject vocabulary.

The accompanying Key Stage 2 Maths Practice reflect the appearance and content of the national tests, providing further opportunity for revision and test preparation.

I thought this was a great book which pretty much covered everything I learnt this year.

I've got these books and I revised from them. Before I was a Level 3 now I'm a Level 6.

This is an ideal revision book to have on hand for checking back on all of the key processes included in KS2 Maths. It is useful to set reading for your child to help boost their weaker areas of Maths and go through examples and quick tests, being clear and well set out. It's also useful to help reinforce your own knowledge, long forgotten!

This is a fantastic book. It really helped me with my SATs. I recommend this to everyone who is struggling with their maths or anyone who wants to achieve a level 6.
