Schofield & Sims donates poetry anthologies to local schools in support of Children's Book Week
To celebrate Children’s Book Week 2013 Schofield & Sims has donated three class-sets of the A Time to Speak and a Time to Listen poetry anthology as prizes in a special book giveaway organised by Provide Education.
Over 600 primary schools in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the East Midlands were invited to take part in a prize draw that would see three separate schools each win a class-set of the poetry anthologies, as well as a copy of the accompanying Teacher’s Guide.
The three wining schools were:
- Field Lane Primary School, Brighouse (pictured above, photograph: Brighouse Echo)
- Tuxford Primary Academy, Worksop
- Rockingham Primary school, Rotherham
We hope that all three schools were pleased with their prizes and are looking forward to reading and performing lots of poetry in the run up to the end of term.
