Schofield & Sims donates poetry anthologies to local schools in support of Children's Book Week

Over 600 primary schools in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the East Midlands were invited to take part in a prize draw that would see three separate schools each win a class-set of the poetry anthologies, as well as a copy of the accompanying Teacher’s Guide. 

The three wining schools were: 

• Field Lane Primary School, Brighouse (pictured above, photograph: Brighouse Echo)
• Tuxford Primary Academy, Worksop 
• Rockingham Primary school, Rotherham  

We hope that all three schools were pleased with their prizes and are looking forward to reading and performing lots of poetry in the run up to the end of term.  

Next year Children’s Book Week will take place 12-18 May.
