Product description for teachers and tutors

Learn Your Times Tables helps children to understand and memorise essential multiplication facts. Together, the books cover all the times tables required by the National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2, including the x11 and x12 times tables.

The activities in Learn Your Times Tables 1 are grouped in sections that focus separately on each of the times tables. Each section begins with the multiplication facts and encourages children to practise and learn them in a variety of ways - from rhymes and actions to the 'look, cover, write, check' method.

This series is designed for children to use independently at home or in school and features:

  • in-depth practice of the ×2, ×3, ×4, ×5 and ×10 times tables
  • facts and rhymes to help children memorise these times tables
  • ideas, games and activities using the cut-out flashcards provided
  • Test yourself questions to enable children to monitor their own learning
  • pull-out answers.

I have just ordered even more books from you as we have already found them a huge success with our daughter, who has ADHD. We have tried the Times Tables book over the past few days and she absolutely LOVED it and better still it seems to have fixed them in her head better than weeks of prior attempts at learning tables! The books were recommended to us by a friend - what a pity all schools don't use them, they are really brilliant. Thank you.

For grandson he is just starting to read, this is an excellent book and can carry on from what they are doing at school
