The Schofield & Sims SATs 10-Minute Tests are short, timed tests designed to consolidate skills and build speed and confidence as children approach the SATs. Ideal for independent work sessions, the tests provide essential bite-sized practice of key national test topics. 

KS2 SATs Reasoning 10-Minute Tests contains twenty-four short tests to develop children’s mathematical reasoning skills. As well as mixed tests, the book includes sixteen topic-based tests designed to give children targeted practice in the eight key areas tested in the SATs: number and place value; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; fractions, decimals and percentages; ratio and proportion; algebra; measurement; geometry; and statistics. Questions are presented in a similar style and format to those in the actual tests, and the tests become gradually more challenging as the book progresses. Key features include:

• Twenty-four timed tests, each containing between six and eight SATs-style questions
• Pull-out answers for quick and easy marking
• A Progress chart for recording scores and tracking improvement

A selection of free downloads, including maths topic question cards, is also available from the Schofield & Sims website. Children can use the cards for independent revision, or with an adult or partner for short bursts of practice.
